Job Description
Must Have
- 3+ years in supplier quality, quality systems, or supply chain role in a regulated or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides; strong communication, organization, and follow-through
Nice To Have
- Hands-on experience with QMS or SQMS/eQMS platforms (e.g., ETQ, MasterControl, TrackWise, Greenlight Guru, Arena, SAP QM) or similar.
- Strong document authoring and process mapping skills; familiarity with change control and risk management.
The Supplier Quality Associate supports the build-out and continuous improvement of the supplier quality management framework with a focus on onboarding and operationalizing a new Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS), updating procedural and work instruction documents, and managing the Supplier Notice of Change intake, evaluation, and approval workflow. This role partners closely with Quality, Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering, IT, and key suppliers to ensure supplier-related risks are identified, controlled, and compliant with internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Help build and validate SQMS workflows (e.g., supplier onboarding, audits, SCAR/CAPA).
-Partner with IT/vendor to triage issues, track defects/enhancements, execute UAT.
-Help develop and maintain SQMS training material;Â conduct end-user training and provide ongoing Tier-1 support.
-Serve as the operational owner of the NOC process: intake, categorization (major/minor), risk screening, and routing for cross-functional review.
-Work with team to update work instructions, forms, and templates related to supplier quality (e.g., supplier onboarding, qualification, audit, SCAR/CAPA, NOC).
-Ensure documents are controlled in the QMS with appropriate versioning, references, approval matrices, and training assignments.
-Contribute to Management Review inputs and cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
