The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven SVP, Strategic Account Management Lead to take ownership of a portfolio of the organisation’s most critical global partnerships.
This is a senior leadership role focused on driving multi-billion-dollar strategic collaborations, deepening C-suite relationships, and delivering sustained commercial growth across top-tier pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global strategic account vision aligned with long-term business growth objectives
- Expand and strengthen high-value, multi-year partnerships with major pharma clients
- Act as a senior executive sponsor across key accounts, building trusted, strategic relationships
Commercial Growth
- Drive significant revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling complex CDMO services
- Lead the development of large-scale, bespoke partnership models and commercial frameworks
- Own account strategy, forecasting, and performance against key financial targets
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain deep, executive-level relationships across global pharma organisations
- Act as an escalation point for key partnerships, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction
- Navigate highly complex deal structures and long-term agreements
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with scientific, operational, and business development teams to deliver integrated client solutions
- Drive alignment across global teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a high-impact, commercially astute leader with a proven ability to operate at the very top of the life sciences industry:
- 10+ years’ experience in senior sales/commercial roles within pharma services, CDMO, or related sectors
- Strong background selling CDMO services into top-tier pharmaceutical companies
- Demonstrable track record of closing and managing multi-billion €/$/£ strategic deals
- Experience operating within or alongside large pharma organisations
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence at C-suite level
- Results-driven, resilient, and highly strategic in approach
